As we head into the last week of September, we also begin the holiday of Sukkot. In the school, our classroom routines are established and student expectations are set. From an experiential learning perspective, Sukkot comes at a wonderful time of the school year. We learn how it feels to design and construct a temporary dwelling, and how it feels to engage with nature through our 5 senses when holding the aromatic 4 species or sitting in our sukkah in different types of weather.
