Referral Program
Word of mouth is one of the most important ways that families hear about Associated Hebrew Schools. The Family Referral Incentive Program is in place to encourage our Associated community to help recruit prospective students.
REFER A NEW FAMILY AND RECEIVE A $1,000 CREDIT TOWARD YOUR TUITION!
This program awards a $1,000 tuition credit for the 2021/22 academic year to any current Associated family whose referral of a new family leads to the enrolment of their child(ren) in a full-day JK through Grade 8 program at Associated in 2021/22. The details are as follows:
THE BASICS:
- The program is open to all parents of current Associated students
- Referred families must be new to Associated, i.e. they do not already have a child enrolled in or registered in any grade at Associated.
- The tuition credit applies to each family referred, not per student.
HOW TO QUALIFY:
- Referring families qualify for the tuition credit when their name is provided by the new family as having referred them on the Application Form submitted between April 1 and August 31, 2021 for the 2021/22 academic year.
- A new family may only list one referring family on the Application Form.
- For the purpose of clarity and to avoid any confusion or conflicts, ONLY the name of the referring family listed on the Application Form completed by the new family will qualify to receive the tuition credit for the 2021/22 academic year.
THE IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- There is no limit to the number of families that can be referred. If the tuition credit exceeds the referring family’s tuition fees for the 2021/22 school year, the excess can be applied to tuition fees for the 2022/23 school year.
- There is no cash value to the referral credit, other than it being applied to the 2021/22 tuition of the referring family.
- Alumni families and AHS staff who make a successful referral but do not currently have a child enrolled in the school will receive a $1,000 credit to be applied in the future against the first year’s tuition of their own child’s enrollment in a full-day JK to Grade 8 program at Associated.
- A tax receipt will not be issued for the referral credit.
- The referred family must follow and complete the regular enrolment process – submission of an application, interview and approval by Associated, and classroom placement for the student. The final decision for student acceptance rests solely with the school’s administration.
- The referred family’s enrolment must continue in good standing for the full 2021/22 academic year. It is at this time, that a tuition credit would be given to the referring family.
- The referring family’s tuition will be credited at the end of the 2021/22 school term. If tuition has been paid in full, a refund cheque will be issued to the referring family in June 2022.
- Referrals may not be made retroactively.
- Parents cannot refer their own children.
- In the event of a conflict or a deemed abuse of the Family Referral Incentive Program, Associated reserves the right to settle all disputes. The resolution reached by Associated will be a final determination. In addition, Associated reserves the right to not accept an application or to withdraw an offer.
- The Family Referral Incentive Program may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of Associated. Associated reserves the right to change any and all information
