AHS COMMUNITY
Parent Life
Each Associated Hebrew Schools branch is a vibrant community of students, families and faculty where people feel they are at a second home. Principals and other administrators know every child by name and office staff are welcoming and friendly.
Family: Partners in Education
We see parents as important partners in our students’ education. There are many programs and educational events designed for family inclusion and participation as well as opportunities to volunteer. A great way to get involved is to become part of our Parents’ Association (AHSPA).
Our families come from a wide spectrum of Jewish observance, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and have found their educational homes here, at Associated. Often, our school community is the primary social network for families and a key support system in times of both celebration and need.
From pick-up and drop-off, to play dates and lifecycle events, finding the best friends and lifelong connections at AHS is often a whole family affair.
Lifecycle Moments Matter Share Your News With Us
There is great value in coming together as a community for lifecycle events, from celebrating together for a simcha, to offering comfort on a loss.
You can now fill out this form any time you would like to share about a milestone event such as a birth, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, engagement, or marriage, or to let us know about a passing in the family, so that we can, as appropriate, let our community know by email, in our weekly newsletters, and/or in our We Are Associated magazine.
